The ZLW series for extreme conditions

Resistant components are required for applications with particularly harsh and aggressive environments. With the industry-specific series, applications with splash water contact, underwater use or even freezing temperatures are no problem. In addition, igus offers® linear axis with belt drive for explosive atmospheres as well as completely metal-free solutions, which are in demand in the field of automation as well as high-frequency and X-ray systems.

LT series

For applications down to -30 °C, the drive and deflection beams are fitted with cold ball bearings. The drive is implemented by a toothed belt suitable for low temperature.

SW series

The SW version is suitable for applications with splash water contact. It is corrosion-free thanks to PU timing belts with stainless steel tension members and stainless steel ball bearings as well as crossbar housings made of anodised aluminium.

Series UW

Type UW is suitable for underwater use. The linear carriages and drive and deflection shaft-end supports are made of hard anodised aluminium. In addition, xiros plastic ball bearings are used. A flexible toothed belt with aramide tie beams serves as the drive.
