Plain bearings

Plain bearing bushings are cylindrical components that are used for mechanical decoupling to reduce friction between moving parts.

iglidur plain bearing bushings from igus are made of high-performance plastics, require no additional lubrication and ensure mechanical stability with minimal friction. The various iglidur® materials are suitable for a wide range of applications, e.g. in dirt and dust, in cleanroom laboratories or under water. The cost-effective plain bearing bushings are maintenance-free and provide optimum wear resistance.

Various types of iglidur plain bearing bushings are available from stock in over 8,500 standard dimensions. In addition, plain bearing bushings in other shapes and dimensions can be produced specifically to your requirements by injection moulding or from iglidur bar stock.
